In mid-September San Candido, one of the oldest villages in South Tyrol, celebrates the farming tradition with a challenging and innovative project. The project, called "Heugabel" (hay fork), foresees two weeks under the banner of the farmers. The HAY (HEU) wants to represent all the rural products while the FORK (Gabel) represents the life of the farmers, which we will discover in the various excursions listed below.

Ancient traditional recipes tell us of strong tastes, substantial dishes and intense aromas. You too will have the opportunity to stop your nose in the pots of our chefs.
Visit to the Unteroltl dairy
We visit the dairy at the “Unteroltl” farm in Sesto and we can see the world of milk production and processing. After seeing the stable and the animals we visit the dairy. Finally we have the opportunity to taste their cheeses.
Panoramic excursion on Monte San Candido
Walking from farm to farm on Monte San Candido we have a beautiful view of the Dolomites. From the Mehlhof farm we can see the Three Peaks.
